RI Producer Chad Verdi Rang NASDAQ Opening Bell

Chad A Verdi, Rhode Island native, award-winning producer, and angel investor in NXT-ID Inc. (NASDAQ: NXTD), rang the NASDAQ opening bell with the company’s CEO, Gino Pereira on October 13.

Verdi is currently in pre-production on two feature films, Bleed for This and Silence, working with some of Hollywood's best-known talent that include Oscar winning director Martin Scorsese, Miles Teller, Andrew Garfield and Liam Neeson.

"2014 has proven to be a great year in all respects but I feel 2015 will be my best year to date. NXT-ID is expecting to deliver the first secured electronic wallet, the Wocket. This product will change the way people make credit card transactions worldwide under a secured system," Verdi told Investor Ideas.

Verdi added,” I invested in this company well over two years ago. Being part of the opening bell ceremony is a dream come true for an investor; seeing the progress of a young company like this.  I feel the Wocket will soon come to be recognized by everyone globally, as a leader in secure payment devices. “

Verdi said, “My next two films, ‘Bleed for This’ and ‘Silence’ are in pre-production now, with filming to begin next month. These films should hit theaters in late 2015 or early 2016. My wife Michelle and I are very pleased to be working with such great talented people. “

Verdi Productions also signed 'Game of Thrones' actor Ciaran Hinds and Sons of Anarchy, Married with Children star Katey Sagal to join Miles Teller in Bleed for This.

Silence will be directed by Martin Scorsese and will star Andrew Garfield and Liam Neeson.
