BankRI Expands into South County with New Wakefield Location

BankRI recently celebrated the opening of its 19th branch with a ribbon-cutting in Wakefield. The ceremony officially marked its expansion into South County.

Several local dignitaries and business leaders were on hand for the ribbon-cutting. Mark J. Meiklejohn, President and CEO of BankRI said, “Not only are we excited to have a presence here and serve the banking needs of South County residents, but as someone who has spent their entire life in South County, I know how great this community is and we’re dedicated to continuing the tradition as good corporate neighbors.”

The bank officially opened on May 19. It is located at 290 Main Street in downtown Wakefield
