Celtics Team With Alex & Ani to Open New Art Studio in Providence

The Boston Celtics and Alex & Ani Charity by Design will join the students of the Roger Williams Middle School in Providence to unveil a brand new art studio. The unveiling will take place on Tuesday, March 24 from 1-2 p.m. at Roger Williams Middle School in Providence. 

The Celtics will be represented by forward Brandon Bass, team President Rich Gotham, and legend Dana Barros. Mayor Jorge Elorza will be in attendance to represent the city of Providence and Alex and Ani Charity by Design Vice President Nicki Maher will be in attendance for the unveiling. 

The Celtics and Alex and Ani Charity by Design purchased six new iMacs, an 80-inch television and supplementary mount as well as an Apple TV for the studio.

In addition, the Celtics and Alex and Ani Charity by Design have refurbished the room's flooring. 

The new studio will be available for Roger Williams Middle School students and its teachers during and after school.
