CNBC’s 2022 rankings for “Top States for Business” are out — and Rhode Island ranked #45.

Rhode Island received grades of "D+" for workforce -- and an "F" for infrastructure. 

Neighboring Massachusetts ranked #24.

Rhode Island moved up one spot from the last ranking. 

As GoLocal reported in 2021, Rhode Island had moved up from its last-place finish in the prior CNBC “Top States for Business” rankings — to 5th worst.
