Historic Park Theatre Postpones Shows Due to Flooding

On Wednesday, owner Ed Brady with the Park Theatre in Cranston made the following announcement.
"We try and stay as positive as possible but sometimes the universe truly tests us. This week has definitely been difficult for so many people here in Rhode Island with the state on the verge of a state of emergency due to flash flooding that has terrorized our local communities.

Unfortunately, we were forced to reschedule this weekends shows in the main theatre and some of our up and coming productions while we remediate the damage.
The Park Place Cafe, The Comedy Park, and The Rolfe Supper Club will remain open as we did not receive damage on the right side of the building. Like so many others our team will be taking it day by day and working as fast as we can to get our main theatre space ready again for our community.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of the families who have also been effected by this storm and we look forward to reopening the doors as soon as we can."
