Johnson & Wales Names Hsu New Provost, Auclair Named Vice Provost
“This leadership team provides the strong foundation on which we can continue to expand our academic programming and empower our faculty and students to strive for academic excellence. As the university develops its next strategic plan, we will continue to review our organizational structure to best position Johnson & Wales University in the years to come,” said Runey.
Thomas Dwyer, who previously served as JWU vice chancellor and provost, will continue as vice chancellor.

Hsu joined JWU in June of 2015, when she was named vice provost.
She worked with Dwyer on academic program development and delivery, faculty scholarship, and student learning outcomes in the curriculum.
As provost, she will be engaged on the strategic planning level, further defining faculty’s roles and responsibilities and outcomes assessment.
Auclair joined JWU in July of 2015 as associate provost.
She will now oversee the day-to-day operations of the academic administration.
