Massachusetts to Host Offshore Wind Supply Chain Forum

Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) will host a one-day Offshore Wind Supply Chain Forum
The Massachusetts Clean Energy Center (MassCEC) will host a one-day Offshore Wind Supply Chain Forum to connect Massachusetts companies with global offshore wind industry representatives.

This comes two weeks after Governor Charlie Baker chose Vineyard Wind to build an 800-megawatt offshore wind projected in federal waters off the coast of Martha’s Vineyard.

As GoLocalProv reported, Rhode Island chose Deepwater Wind to construct a new 400-megawatt offshore wind farm as part of The Revolution Wind project.

The forum will take place on Wednesday, June 6 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the New Bedford Marine Commerce Terminal.

The Forum

The forum will spotlight local industry expertise available to support the offshore wind industry, including local equipment suppliers, steel fabricators, electrical service providers, civil engineers, heavy lift crane operators, tug and barge companies, marine service providers, and others.

It will offer local companies the opportunity to conduct one-on-one matchmaking meetings with offshore wind companies to explore opportunities.
