Methia to Leave Director of Broadcast Operations Position at ABC6

ABC6 Director of Broadcast Operations John Methia is leaving his position at the station.

Friday, January 12, will be his last day. 

Don Curtin has been promoted to take his place.

About Methia

Methia has been with ABC6 for 37 years and will move on to work with his company “Sociable.”

The company will be producing “Caught in Providence,” which will be distributed by National Syndicator Debmar-Mercury.

As GoLocalProv reported, the show will launch on Fox Television Stations in the fall of 2018.

GoLocal runs a clip of the show regularly.

ABC6 Departures 

Methia's departure comes a little over three months after general manager Chris Tzianabos left the station in October of 2017

It comes five months after longtime sportscaster Ken Bell retired from the station in July of 2017.
