Molly O'Brien, the morning traffic reporter and intregal to WJAR-10's social media strategy has left the station as of Friday.

She posted the following Facebook message:

I want to say thank you so very much for letting me be a part of your life and morning routine for the past four years. I'm leaving NBC 10. I am thankful you welcomed me into your lives each and every day. I love helping people, whether filling them in on the AM commute, or helping people start the day with a smile. I hope I helped you somewhere along the way. Southern New England is a special place and I'll still be here. I'm just stepping away from Ch. 10. I'll be forever grateful for the opportunities I've had, and what I've been able to share with you! NBC 10 allowed me to go to the World Series, the Super Bowl, climb to the top of the Newport Bridge, and clean the satellite dishes during a snow storm. I've been so fortunate in my time to work with great people day in and day out, both on air and behind the scenes. I've laughed every single day. Thank you Ch. 10 viewers, your loyalty and kindness have been overwhelming throughout the years and I'll always be grateful. It has been a pleasure!
