If you're in the market for a multi-family home in Rhode Island, you won't find the bargain you did a year ago. Although multi-family sales have gone down 38 percent, prices have risen back to levels not seen since 2008. The median price of multi-family property sales in April 2010 was $123,750 compared to $69,900 in April 2009. The properties that did not sell through a short sale or foreclosure had a median price of $162,500.
