“At Brady Sullivan, the safety of our properties and the well-being of those who live and work in them is our highest priority. That is why we take complaints and allegations of unsafe environments very seriously.  In response to all known complaints in units to which we have been granted access by the tenants, Brady Sullivan hired qualified, third party contractors to perform assessments, and where necessary, perform remediation. We wish to underscore that the units we have been allowed to test showed that any presence of mold was well within acceptable levels as determined by an independent certified industrial hygienist.

We cannot fix what we cannot see, or respond to allegations if we are denied access to tenant units, which has occurred repeatedly. We have asked numerous times to be allowed such access, but have been refused by the law firm handling the complaints.

We have also repeatedly asked for any data that would support an unsafe level of mold or other pathogens or negative health effects as a result, and have been denied access to this information, again, by the attorneys handling this matter. In fact, the attorneys handling this matter have chosen to provide this information in the first instance through the media. We, again, call upon the attorneys handling this matter to provide to us the data supporting their claims.

We remain committed to conducting further assessments, at our expense, if we are allowed to do so.”

In response to the Brady sullivan claims, Providence attorney Artin Coloian said in a statement:

Ms. Doyle can only respond based on what her clients are telling her and their reputation for telling the truth speaks for itself.

I am befuddled by a response to a segment [an interview on GoLocal LIVE} by a treating physician that addressed the lawyers and not a plan to deal with the injured parties.

As to denying access to the apartments. We have to date filed three complaints and those people have moved out. I don’t know why they can’t get into those units."
