NEW: Lapides Co-Chairs Record Setting RI Brighter Futures Event

Residential Properties Ltd. President & CEO, Sally Lapides was a prominent participant and co-chair for the Family Service of Rhode Island’s 9th Annual Brighter Futures Award Luncheon recently held at the Rhode Island Convention Center. The event was a major success, raising over $170,000 for Family Services of Rhode Island, more than any of the previous eight years of the event.

“I am proud and grateful to have been a co-chair of the annual Brighter Futures Luncheon,” said Lapides. “Margaret Holland McDuff is an extraordinary leader of this amazing organization and I have no doubt that the money raised will be used to help many in need.”

“Rhode Island is a wonderful place to live and work for most of us,” said Lapides. “But for many, there is a daily struggle to find a safe place in which to grow and thrive. Family Services of Rhode Island is an integral force in providing the services that are needed throughout the state to help and support all these children and families in achieving their dream of a better life.”

The luncheon also honored Providence Mayor Angel Taveras as the recipient of the 9th Annual Brighter Futures Award, created to celebrate an individual or organization for helping to build brighter futures for people of need in the community.
