North Kingstown Wind Turbine to Receive Maintenance & Technology Upgrades

Green Development announced that North Kingstown’s first wind turbine will receive maintenance and technology upgrades in May.

“We wanted to take the opportunity to explain why our neighbors may notice work being done on the turbine. This maintenance will begin this week and it will take approximately three weeks for the turbine to be back up and operational,” said Mark DePasquale, founder, and chairman of Green Development.

According to Green Development, the blades will be cleaned and the turbine’s generator, nacelle, and hub will be enhanced with upgraded technology.
