Ocean House Receives Five Diamond Award from AAA
“Five Diamond properties have extraordinary physical qualities, extensive amenities and impeccable standards for service excellence,” writes AAA about the award.
The Ocean House first received the Five Diamond rating in 2011 and has maintained it every year since.

Along with the Ocean House, 12 other Rhode Island Hotels were honored with Four Diamond awards by AAA.
“The Five and Four Diamond ratings are impressive accomplishments that recognize the upper echelon of hotels in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and the Caribbean,” said Lloyd Albert, AAA Northeast Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs.
Recipients will be honored by AAA in March at a luncheon at the Hotel Providence.
Rhode Island’s 12 Four Diamond recipients are:

Four and Five Diamond Awards
AAA’s experienced and independent inspectors annually visit and approve more than 27,000 hotels across North America. Only 121 hotels, 0.4 percent of the total, receive AAA’s highest rating of Five Diamonds, while just another 1,722 properties, or 6.3 percent, receive the Four Diamond award.
