Olga’s Cup and Saucer Closing - Pioneer in the Jewelry District

Olga's Cup and Saucer
Olga’s Cup and Saucer on Point Street, which was one of the first cafes to develop in the Jewelry District in Providence, is closing.

Olga’s last day will be December 24, 2019.

Olga’s worked off of the message of “Everything we make is grounded in our love of food, totally, completely, and unapologetically. What makes us happiest about our food is knowing you love the way it tastes, how it looks, and the way it brings you closer to your friends and family. We want our food to be part of your story because we are our guests’ biggest fans.”

The landlord, a corporation named 103 Point Street LLC, is managed by Joanne Chang — she is also listed as the manager of Olga’s on the Secretary of State’s website.

Olga's first opened in 1997.

According to one staffer, their landlord is not continuing the lease.

The space is expected to be taken over by Seven Stars Bakery.

Chang on her website writes that she is an “investor and advisor to healthcare and consumer startups. Involved in real estate transactions, both as an active owner and in the crowdfunding commercial arena. Inadvertent owner of local cafe/bakery gem."
