Bank RI's O'Donnell Saracino Receives National “Angel in Adoption” Honor

BankRI's Patricia O'Donnell Saracino, the Vice President of Community Relations at the company, has been given the National "Angel in Adoption" Honor by The Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute. Saracino was nominated for the award by Rhode Island Congressman James Langevin for this honor.

"I am truly humbled by this honor, which helps to bring awareness to the tens of thousands of orphans and foster children in our country in need of permanent, safe, and loving homes through adoption,” said O'Donnell Saracino who is the adoptive mother to a daughter.

Saracino has volunteered with Adoption Rhode Island, a nonprofit that works to find families for children living in foster care, for close to ten years.

“Patricia is a kind, compassionate and dedicated child advocate who always puts the needs of our adopted and foster children first,” said Congressman Langevin. “She is someone who speaks out for those children who often do not have a voice, which is incredibly powerful.”

The Angels in Adoption program honors over 100 people every year who have greatly helped the lives of foster children.
