Providence's Ximedica to Partner with Life Sciences Venture Capital Firm

Ximedica - a FDA registered product development firm focused on medical technology - will be partnering with SV Life Sciences - a life sciences venture capital firm - to embark on a growth strategy for products in the biotechnology and medical technology fields. 

"We are excited to partner with SV Life Sciences as we embark upon the next phase of our global growth strategy," said Ximedica CEO Randall Barko. "Their experience in working with entrepeneurs and management teams in the Americas and Europe [and] deep medtech expertise and industry relationships [...] will be important as we take advantage of opportunities in expanding markets."

SV's COO and Managing Partner Paul LaViolette will join Barko and Ximedica's CIO Aidan Petrie as Chairman of Ximedica's board.
