RI Airport Corp. to Hold Open House for T.F. Green Master Plan

The Rhode Island Airport Corporation (RIAC) will hold a Master Plan Open House on Thursday, February 20, 2020, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The presentations will be held at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 pm.  

“This is another valuable opportunity for the public to learn more about our efforts to plan for the future of T.F. Green Airport. The master plan takes a measured approach to capital investment so we can develop our infrastructure incrementally as Passenger Activity Levels (PALs) dictate,” said Iftikhar Ahmad president and CEO of RIAC. “Furthermore, the FAA ties federal funding to the availability and timeliness of such plans by airports, which is critical for this major Rhode Island transportation asset.”

The Master Plan is focused on defining feasible and flexible development plans to accommodate forecasted demand over a 20-year period.  RIAC has communicated with and received input from a wide range of stakeholders across Rhode Island regarding planning forecasts and preliminary development concepts for airside, terminal, landside and cargo/general aviation areas.  

4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. T. F. Green Airport, Mary Brennan Board Room – 2nd Level. Presentations will be given at 4:15 p.m. and 6:15 p.m. Question and answer period to follow after each presentation.  Parking will be validated.  Light refreshments will be served.
