RI Infrastructure Bank to unveil ew solar project at Laurel Lane Country Club
The Rhode Island Infrastructure Bank is set to unveil its new solar project titled the "Commercial Property Assessed Clean Energy (C-PACE) project."

The bank will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 4 at Laurel Lane Country Club in South Kingstown, the site of the project.

The ceremony will take place at 1:45 p.m.

The Project

According to the RI Infrastructure Bank, the $500,000 project will provide clean energy to power the Club’s hospitality and golf operations and support upgrades to its fleet of gas-powered golf carts to electric carts, saving the Club an estimated $1.3 million over the next twenty-five years.

In addition, the Club will save 5 million kilowatt-hours – the amount of energy used to power almost 16 Rhode Island homes per year.
