T.F. Green Airport Ranks As One Of America's Best

Rhode Island's T.F. Green Airport was ranked among America's Best Airports according to Travel + Leisure. The results were based on a reader survey of 67 U.S. airports in which six factors were considered: location, design, food and drink, delays, check-in, and shopping. Rhode Island's largest airport was the only in New England to make the list; coming in at #4 overall.

While the aesthetics nor cuisine are likely to wow you, T.F. Green is very conveniently located just a few miles from downtown Providence, earning the #1 ranking in that category. The airport is also renowned for efficient and smooth check-ins, a category in which it placed second. Additionally, short security lines, and its reasonably small size makes finding one's gate a quick and low-stress undertaking.

TF Green is convenient not only for Rhode Islanders, but for much of Southern New England. An intermodal station, completed in 2010, allows Bostonian travelers the option to use the MBTA Commuter Rail to bypass highly-trafficked Logan Airport without the added cost and hassle of long-term parking.
