T.F. Green Finishes 2nd Overall in USA Today's 10 Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards

T.F. Green Airport finished second in the 2020 “USA Today 10 Best Readers’ Choice” travel award contest for “Best Small Airport” in the country.

The second-place finish comes after T.F. Green was nominated as one of the Top 20 airports by a panel of travel experts. 

“We are grateful for the tremendous support shown by Rhode Islanders and throughout the nation who value the ease and economy of air travel from T.F. Green Airport. We are honored that so many of our patrons took the time to vote in support of Green Airport and we take pride that our commitment to improve services has been recognized by travel experts and passengers alike,” said Iftikhar Ahmad, president, and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation.

Overall Rankings

Huntsville International Airport in Alabama took top honors after spending the majority of the contest behind T.F. Green.

Airports that T.F. Green beat include Bangor International Airport (#5) in Maine and Manchester-Boston Regional Airport in New Hampshire (#9).
