Tesla to Open Warwick Location this Coming Saturday

The development comes after the car company had initially eyed a location on Quaker Lane — and the company had announced a focus on online sales with only a small number of brick-and-mortar locations in “high-traffic” locations.
The Tesla Store Warwick Commons will be located at 399 Bald Hill Road, and once launched, is expected to be open Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. through 6 p.m.

He wanted to make sure we got [Tesla] to stay in Warwick."

Shekarchi spoke to what he sees as the importance of landing Tesla in Warwick.
“Tesla is a sought-after iconic name and brand -- it says it Warwick is able to compete with other cities and towns in Rhode Island, and throughout New England,” said Shekarchi. “We competed with locations throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut.”
“It's the ability to get things done fast that made this happen,” said Shekarchi.
