The Fund for Community Progress to Kick Off Annual Workplace Campaign

The Fund for Community Progress will launch their Annual Workplace Giving Campaign at the Warwick Country Club on October 9 at an 8:00am breakfast.

For 33 years, the Fund for Community Progress has partnered with socially progressive Rhode Island businesses and institutions to give employees the opportunity to support social causes they care about.

Workplace donors pledged over $212,000 to Rhode Island nonprofit organizations in 2013.

This support for The Fund's 25 charitable member organizations makes a significant impact on the communities they serve.

These organizations work in Rhode Island neighborhoods with the most significant challenges. The Fund's member agencies focus on issues such as ending poverty, hunger, illiteracy, violence and discrimination..

The Fund for Community Progress has invested over $8 million in the infrastructure of Rhode Island over the last 33 years.

More than 55 corporations, banks, universities, hospitals, schools and municipalities will participate in the Annual Workplace Campaign this year.
