5th Annual Luxe Burger BYOB Contest Kicks Off on June 15
“We are excited to bring our Build Your Own Burger contest back for a fifth year. Each year, we receive hundreds of entries from the creative culinary minds of Providence and beyond, and we can’t wait to see what our guests come up with next,” said John Elkhay, Maestro, of Chow Fun Food Group.
The Contest
GET THE LATEST BREAKING NEWS HERE -- SIGN UP FOR GOLOCAL FREE DAILY EBLASTContestants will be able to choose amongst the 45 different ingredients on Luxe’s menu, with an additional two original selections not already offered.
The top five submissions will be featured on the Luxe menu from September 4 through October 1.
On October 3 at 12 noon a panel of culinary and celebrity judges will evaluate each submission’s creativity, taste, edibility, ease of production, overall composition, and the given title. Final scoring will be determined by a combination of each burger’s Facebook “Likes”, total sales throughout the given month, and the judges’ opinions.
The winning burger will be featured on Luxe Burger Bar’s menu until next year’s winner is announced.
