60's-Themed Cocktail Week Kicks Off at Cook & Brown

Don your fedoras and fasten on the pearls, Cook and Brown Public House is kicking off Providence’s cocktail week with a 1960’s themed cocktail party this Friday. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the RISD Museum, whose newest exhibition on cocktail culture served as the inspiration for Cocktail Week itself.

The party will begin at 7:30 with a complimentary cocktail hour featuring classic punches and period hors d’oeuvres prepared by nationally adored (James Beard, Esquire, et al) Chef Nemo Bolin. After the cocktail hour, guests are invited to sample from a special cocktail menu comprised of drinks directly inspired by the culture, fashion, and social scene of the 1960’s. The evening will be crowned by the unveiling of a brand new cocktail created exclusively for the event by resident bartender Jesse Hedberg—who was recently profiled in Providence Monthly.

Tickets are priced at $75 with all proceeds going to the RISD museum. To purchase, go online, here.
