A New Coffee Bar is Coming to Providence's Fox Point

GoLocal spoke with Dan Saffer, the owner of the original — and popular — West Shore Road establishment in Warwick, about opening the now second location.
According to Saffer, he “knew he always needed to be in Providence.”

The area has been seeing significant development — a bike path across the street links the East Side to India Point Park, and Narragansett Brewery is just on the other side of the highway.
Saffer knows real estate. He was a flipper for decades and then was a broker.
The popularity of West Shore Coffee Bar however has him putting his “flipping” days behind him, says Saffer.
About Coffee Bar
Popular coffee drinks include the “Thin Mint” and “Fruity Pebbles” lattes, and food items that are available range from breakfast sandwiches and bagels, to açaí and dragon fruit bowls, and more.
Saffer said that he believes it is the “vibe and consistency” of West Shore Coffee Bar that has contributed to its success.
“We have a very chill vibe about us — it’s just a happy and exciting place,” said Saffer. “And we have a ton of keepsakes. It’s just very welcoming, and we’re really looking forward to being in Providence."
Saffer told GoLocal that the coffee bar should be ready to open in the coming weeks.
And after that?
“We’ve got our eyes set on a third location,” said Saffer.
Stay tuned.
