Providence’s new hotspot, Birch, has been nominated as one of 50 in Bon Appetit’s Best New Restaurants in America for 2014. Located on 200 Washington Street, Birch offers an sleek and intimate dining experience as it seats only 18 customers around its U-shaped wood bar.  You won’t want to miss the four course prix fixe at only $49.

Sukle bio

Ben Sukle, Birch’s nationally recognized head chef, previously worked at The Dorrance where he was nominated two times for Food and Wine’s People’s Best New Chef while the restaurant was also named one of Bon Appetit’s Top 50 Best New Restaurants.  Sulke is a local graduate from Johnson & Wales University and has worked as an apprentice in Copenhagen.
