Donut You Want to Marry Me? Providence’s Knead Doughnuts Plays Part in Marriage Proposal

On Monday, Providence’s Knead Doughnuts posted a box showing donuts with the message of a marriage proposal — and apparently, it’s not that uncommon.
“We get requests for this occasionally — and yes it [was real!],” said Knead in a Facebook message to GoLocalProv.com.

"It was a couple in town for the weekend and stopping by on their way home," said Knead.
More About Knead
With locations in Providence downtown and on the East Side, Knead expanded this past spring into a 5,000 commercial kitchen previously operated by the food incubator Pilotworks, now called Providence Kitchen Collaborative.
With a significantly larger commercial kitchen, Knead is now able to give back and support several budding food businesses by leasing them commercial kitchen space.
“We are humbled to be able to support Providence’s dynamic food scene,” said Knead co-founder Adam Lastrina. “All these businesses were right where we were two years ago.”
