New Bakery Opens on Camp Street in Providence - From Folks at PVD Donuts

Oak Bakeshop — located at the corner of Camp and Cypress Streets — is the brainchild of the owners of PVD Donuts.
“We’re Oak Bakeshop, a Jew~ish bakery brought to you by the same folks that started PVDONUTS!,” they announced prior to opening. “What you can expect from us: Traditional Jewish treats along with other classic pastries, but more of a set menu with seasonal specials and whatever else we might come up with. We plan to offer a full coffee program featuring local favorites such as Borealis, Nitro, and Coffee guy.”

This week, it officially opened.
“So we're basically sold out of everything not even 4 hours into the day, and there aren't enough thanks in the world that we could dole out,” they announced on Tuesday. “Thank you for making our first day an incredible one. We've got a lot of reflecting to do, because we basically ran through a weeks worth of prep already.”
A sign outside reads, “Some Jewish things. Some not Jewish things. Full coffee bar. But mostly just figuring it out.”
