New Tacos & Tequila Restaurant Opening in RI in April

The owners of Xaco Taco and Ten Prime Steak and Sushi are opening a new restaurant.

The Chow Fun group is promoting that OZ Tacos & Tequila in Lincoln is slated to open on April 29.

“Located in the town of Lincoln, OZ Tacos & Tequila is a quirky, upbeat restaurant inspired by flavors from around the world,” says the group in its announcement.

The location — at 200 Front Street — is where Harry’s Bar & Burger, owned by the restaurant group, was formerly located.

“Here you’ll find a unique variety of tacos and small plates paired with whimsical cocktails and an extensive tequila selection,” they continue.

And why “OZ?”

“OZ [äz] noun: An ideal or fantastical place,” says the group. “An amiable blend of foolishness, innocence, and freshness. Where tacos without borders are served!”

Latest for Chow Fun

Over a year into the pandemic, the Chow Fun Group is looking to reemerge. 

It closed Luxe Burger in downtown Providence, as well the Harry’s Burger location in Newport. 

The two Providence locations of Harry’s  — on North Main Street and Federal Hill — remain open.
