Plant City Moving to Barrington - Closing Middletown

The restaurant group is owned by Kim Anderson.

The Middletown location was first announced in 2019.
Then, a second Plant City X in Warwick was announced in 2021.
The original location was Plant City, a food court-style located in Providence on South Water Street which opened in 2019.
"Plant City is the world's first plant-based vegan food hall and marketplace. Dine with us at one of our four restaurants and three bars, all created by internationally-acclaimed chef Matthew Kenney," according to their website. Kenney has been under scrutiny for a number of business issues.
The exact location of the new Barrington restaurant has not been announced.
