Sprout and Lentil Vegan Kitchen to Start Delivery on Aquidneck Island

Sprout and Lentil -- a vegan, plant-based kosher kitchen located in Middletown -- has announced will soon be offering delivery, and extended hours. 

Chef Carmen Foy, who has traveled the globe as a yacht chef, private chef and instructor for over 12 years, is certified in plant-based nutrition and her culinary studies include the CIA in NYC, Cordon Bleu in France and Florence, Italy.  

She opened the location at 796 Aquidneck Avenue to bring her plant-based expertise to Rhode Island.

"The number of people embracing the vegan and plant-based diet is growing rapidly,” said Foy, “We’ve shifted to a new era of plant-based cuisine.  Diners have an increased awareness of dietary options, organic products and the environmental impacts of factory farming.”  

The Sprout and Lentil mission is to create food that everyone loves, with plants, and includes many gluten-free options.

“We have listened to our customers and they want fast delivery from people they know,” said Foy. "For this reason we decided to offer our own delivery service”.

Foy said the restaurant is extending its hours on Thursday to Saturday and offering delivery on these evenings starting on January 14. 

Delivery will be from 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
