The Boat House, the beautiful waterside restaurant in Tiverton, has just been chosen by OpenTable online reservation diners as one of the 50 restaurants with the best scenic view in the nation. The Boat House was the only eatery chosen in all of New England. Take that, coastal Maine. Martha's Vineyard. Nantucket.

“We are thrilled to be named to OpenTable’s awards list this year,” said Jason Cieto, General Manager of the Boat House. “We’ve always thought our view is exceptional, but it means so much coming from our patrons who have dined here and experienced it for themselves.” The quintessential New England seafood spot takes its views of the Sakonnet River, arguably one of the most picturesque settings in the region.

In this annual awards list, Open Table asked diners to pick their best spots for feasting their eyes as well as feeding their stomachs. The results were tallied and the official list includes 50 scenic eateries from coast-to-coast.
