Turnbull Wine Cellar's Peter Heinz to Headline Fleming's Napa Valley Wine Dinner

Why fly to California when you can enjoy the company of one of the region's finest winemaking families?

Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar is bringing Napa Valley flavor to the Ocean State when Peter Heitz, winemaker of Turnbull Wine Cellars, will showcase his vineyard's current releases at the restaurant's upcoming Napa Valley Wine Dinner on Thursday, March 17. Fleming's will pair hors d'oeuvres and four courses with Heitz's selections.

Napa winemaking dynasty

Heitz is the fourth generation of the renowned Napa wine family. He grew up kicking the dirt clods of Carneros on one of the pioneering vineyards in the region, later honing his vineyard background farming in the Calistoga Appellation, on dirt first planted to vines by his great grandparents in 1904. Heitz has been a winemaker at Turnbull Wine Cellars in Oakville since the 2007 vintage with prior winemaking experience under the tutelage of Laurie Hook and Ed Sbragia crafting the venerable Beringer Reserve wines. Quite the pedigree.
