Health Department Receives 18 Applications for ‘Compassion Centers’

The Rhode Island Health Department has received 18 applications to run compassion centers that dispense medical marijuana, according to a news release.

All of the applications can be viewed online at: http://www.health.ri.gov/programs/medicalmarijuana (Note that some applications are as long as 400 pages and may take some time to download.)

A public hearing on the applications is set for 10 a.m. Feb. 7 at the Health Department auditorium.
