New Asymptomatic Coronavirus Testing Site to Open in Warwick

Warwick Mayor Frank Picozzi
Starting Wednesday, January 20, a new rapid COVID-19 testing site will be available for asymptomatic Rhode Islanders. It will be located at the Shops at Greenwood, Suite 15 and 17, near the Rhode Island Blood Center on Greenwich Avenue.

“This new testing site will help get more Rhode Islanders tested, and hopefully get case numbers down across the state. It was made possible through a private partnership with the Rhode Island National Guard, the City of Warwick, and a private business," said Mayor Frank Picozzi.

No appointment is not required for the self-administered test, and results will be provided within 15 minutes.

The Rhode Island National Guard will be on hand to instruct anyone who has questions.

Hours of operation will be Tuesday-Saturday, 9am to 5pm. The test is free to the public.
