RI Oral Health Foundation to Host 5th Annual Free Dental Clinic in June

Doors for the clinic open at 6 a.m. each day, patients are seen on a first come, first served basis until the clinic reaches capacity. Services include cleanings, fluoride treatments, dental sealants, x-rays, oral health education, fillings, tooth extractions, some root canal treatments and minor denture repairs.
The goal of the Mission of Mercy clinic is to address patients' most urgent oral health needs, placing a high priority on patients suffering from infections or pain. The clinic provides free care to Rhode Islanders who do not have access to dental care.

Last year's Clinic
Last year's Mission of Mercy clinic served 774 patients between the ages of two and 90. Over 625 community and dental/medical volunteers performed nearly 3,400 procedures during the two day event.
RI Oral Health Foundation
The Rhode Island Oral Health Foundation was established in 2011 with the mission of providing funding and resources to improve oral health in the state of Rhode Island.
