STORM UPDATE: South County Hospital Cancels Some Services, Programs for Wednesday

Based on the forecast from the National Weather Service for the storm that is expected to affect Rhode Island Tuesday night and into the day Wednesday, South County Hospital is cancelling some services and programs for tomorrow as follows:

Anticoagulation Management Clinic Closed for the day
Cardiac Cath Lab Cancelled
Cardiac Rehab Closed for the day
Childbirth Education / Preparation programs Cancelled
Diabetes Center Closed for the day
Diagnostic Imaging Dept. will be open (except Nuclear Medicine)
Emergency Department Open
Endoscopy Dept. will be open (Dr. Dugas’ pts. cancelled)
Infant / Child CPR class Cancelled
Infusion Therapy Closed for the day
Inpatient Services Staffed and functioning
Medical & Wellness Center (Urgent Care, Lab, DI) Opening at 1:00 p.m.
Medical & Wellness Center: (Family Medicine, Center for Women’s Health) Closed for the day
Outpatient Labs – Charlestown and Salt Pond office park Closed for the day
Outpatient Labs – Medical Office Building, and Narragansett Opening sometime between 10:00 a.m. and noon
Outpatient Lactation program Cancelled
Pre Admission Testing Closed for the day
Sleep Lab Closed as of Tuesday 1/11
South County Quality Care Will be going out to patient homes as planned or will call client or client families
South County Radiation Therapy Closed for the day
South County Surgical Supply Opening dependent upon road conditions; call 783-1850

Wave Van service Cancelled if public schools are closed
