Three RI Nursing Homes Win National Quality Awards from American Health Care Assoc.

Three Rhode Island nursing homes earned recognition this year from the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living.

Cedar Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Centre in Cranston earned the 2019 Silver Achievement to Quality Award.

“We are honored to be selected from so many fine candidates for this prestigious award. We work hard every day to make sure our patients and residents have the best care and experience possible. This is a tribute to the fine work of all of our employees every time they come to work,” said Susan Whipple, administrator of Cedar Crest.

Silver award winners are honored for continuing to learn and develop effective approaches that help performance and healthcare outcomes.

Other RI Award Winners

Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston and Greenville Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Greenville were also recognized for earning the Bronze-Commitment to Quality Award.

The award is given for commitment to improving the lives of residents through quality care.

National Quality Award Program

The National Quality Award Program honors members who have demonstrated their dedication to improving the quality of care for seniors and persons with disabilities.

It has three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold.
