Meet Iceburg! This 3 yr old cutie is looking for his forever family! Iceburg has experience living with dog savvy children, cats and dogs and could possibly go home with them. He's got a lot of energy and loves to play before cozying up on your lap for a nap. If Iceburg sounds like the pup for you come meet him today!
Shiloh
Meet Shiloh! This 10 month old pup is full of energy and would benefit from an active adopter that is comfortable continuing his basic obedience training as well as his leash manners. Shiloh will need to be in an adult only home while he works on his jumpy behavior. He has a history of chasing cats and would do best as the only dog in the home. Shiloh is one of our LEAP fund available dogs and will go home with a voucher to set up sessions with a trainer to make his transition to a home even easier. Suzy McWiggles
Meet, Suzy McWiggles. With a name like that, you know she’s a character! Suzy was a stray from Providence Animal Control, therefore, we do not have a detailed history on her. Suzy bonded to dog staff quickly. She enjoys a long nap by your feet post adventure. She is around 3 years old and would do best in a home with teens and adults. Because Ms. McWiggles lacks a cat history, we are saying no kitties please. Suzy is working on her dog to dog skills and will be LEAP fund. This provides adopters with a voucher towards post adoption training so Suzy can continue to learn and grow. Suzy recently had some benign masses removed from her mammary's. Her adopter should monitor for re-occurrence in the future. If you'd like to be a superhero for this sweetie, come on down and meet her!
Sammie
Meet Sammie! Sammie is a 3 yr old large mixed breed. She is a little cannon ball of energy and loves to play with her people until she's ready to cuddle and take a long nap with you! She doesn't have any history living with cats and likes to chase squirrels so we're recommending a home without kitties for this gal. She has met dogs while here at the shelter and could possibly go home with the right one. She seems to enjoy dogs that are more low key and not too high energy. Sturdy kids that are comfortable with a large jumpy girl could be a good match! Sammie would do best in a home setting vs. an apartment. Sound like the gal for you? Come on down and meet her!
Moose
My name is Moose! I am 2 yrs old and one goofy, tennis ball - loving stud!. I was found as a stray in Providence so staff do not know a ton about my past. I spent several months at PARL searching for a home to call my own. Staff and volunteers brought me on quite a few adventures and we did lot's of fancy photo-shoots! Nevertheless, being in a shelter day in and day out just wasn't going to cut it for an active guy like me. One day, a wonderful lady named Jamie came along and decided to be my foster mom! Let me tell you, life has been SO much better relaxing in a home! Each time the phone rings I hope that it's PARL calling to set up a meet with a potential forever home. Until that day comes, I am very much loved and cared for!
Bandit
My name is Bandit and I am a 1 year old male. I am an active and outgoing guy that likes to explore and meet new people. My feline-ality is "Party Animal". I'm a cat on a mission: PARTY! I love to play and explore and test my limits. I'd love to play with you, but I can make a toy out of anything: pencils, post-it notes, potatoes. If you're looking for some laughs and someone to liven up the party, think about inviting me.

My name is Milo and I am a 2 year old male. I am a chunky, handsome guy ready to add some excitement and love into your life. I have been living outside, so I will need a family to help me learn how exciting and enriching indoor living can be. I've heard about these things called cat trees, food puzzles, shelves, scratching posts, wand toys, and windowsills and I'm excited to learn all about them. My feline-ality is "Executive" I have to say, I'm a busy cat. First, I've got to check out what's happening out the window. Next, I'll see if any closets or cupboards need looking into.
