Carlito
Meet Carlito! He was part of a group of pups transferred up from Texas. Carlito is a big lover boy who loves toys and food!! (the finer things in life) Carlito gets overly excited around other dogs - we would like him to go home without one. We do feel he has potential to be a great play partner with some work! Teens and adults best for him as he has shown some fear of new people. He comes around rather quickly with some patience and yummy treats! No cat history, so no cats please.

Finnegan
Meet, Finnegan! He is a young male, about 1 years old. Finn is goofy, playful and super sweet! He can be a little bit shy at first - but his confidence blooms quickly! Finnegan seems to like other dogs but should live without cats and small kids (he's a bit of a jumper, but he's working on it!) Looking for a big lug to spice up your life? Come on in and meet this guy.

Axle
Meet Axle! a 1 yr old, Mixed Breed Male. Axle was transferred to us via a Rescue Group in Texas. Axle is one spunky guy with a lot of personality. Another social dog could work out but cat friends are not recommended. Children who have experience interacting with large dogs may work (he needs a bit more work on his manners!) Come and scoop up this baby today!

Peluche
Meet Peluche! This 12 yr old senior is looking for a nice family and a warm bed or lap to nap in. He could possibly live with another small calm dog and possibly a dog savvy cat. Peluche came in with a history of chronic ear infections so adopters should be willing to continue treatment for him in the home. Older dog savvy children could be a good fit if they are understanding that his ears can be painful at times. Come by and meet him today!

Hazel
This 6 year old cutie is currently in a foster home while she awaits an adopter. Hazel loves nothing more than to cuddle up next to you for belly rubs! She recently recovered from a surgery on one of her ears (a Total Ear Canal Ablation) as a result of chronic ear infections. As of right now, Hazel does not need surgery on her other ear and she is doing well on daily medications. Potential adopters should know that Hazel is deaf, will require medication throughout her lifetime, and may need additional veterinary care in the future. She would love an adults-only home and gets along well with other dogs! If you're interested in Hazel, please give us a call and we can schedule a time for you to meet her.

Thomas
Meet Thomas! This guy is nothing but charming. He'll be your best friend in a heartbeat and won't ever stop coming back for more pets and cuddles. Thomas needs someone willing to give him all the love he deserves, but also understands that due to health issues he is considered a hospice adoption. He is only 8 years old, but x-rays show a large mass in Thomas's chest. This mass makes it more difficult for Thomas to breathe - though you would never know it by his playful demeanor! Further diagnostics could provide more information on the mass, but this would require surgery and it is not believed that this would be in Thomas's best interests. We can't say how long Thomas has left, but we promise whatever time an adopter gets with him would be so well worth it. If you think you're the one who can give Thomas the love and attention he deserves, come meet him today! You'll be so happy you did.

Willow
Hi, my name is Willow and I'm 6 years old. I would prefer to be the only cat in the home but could be happy with a calm dog friend. I'm best described as a "Secret Admirer"- When it comes to relationships, I'm very level-headed. I don't leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I'll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me but I'll be thinking a lot of you!

Kiki
Hey there, my name is Kiki. I'm a confident lady who is almost 2 years old. I'm best described as an Executive - I have to say, I'm a busy cat. First, I've got to check out what's happening out the window. Next, I'll see if any closets or cupboards need looking into. And then there are my naps — can't be late for those. I can fit a little socializing into my schedule. Shall we plan on breakfast and dinner? I hope you like kibbles.

Jessie
Hi, my name is Jessie and I'm 8 years old. I'm a calm, lap-cat who is looking for a new person to bond with. A quieter home where I am spoiled rotten and can soak up a lot of sun would be awesome. I'm pretty independent when it comes to cat friends but I've lived with them before and wouldn't mind!

Minnie
My name is Minnie and I'm 5 years old. I've been at PARL for about 3 months, and I'm looking for a quiet home with someone willing to go slow with me. Once we get to know each other I'm a pretty affectionate girl! Not gonna lie, some treats could really go a long way in building our relationship. My feline-ality is "Private Investigator". I'm working undercover to keep an eye on you and your household. You may not even know you're under surveillance. I can vanish into thin air if anyone or anything interferes with my investigation. If you need a cat who knows how to stay out of trouble and will always keep your secrets, I just might take your case.
