Windharp at Linden Place Mansion

Windharp is a quartet of two women and two men who sing in rich four-part harmony. 

The program celebrates the Christmas season and welcomes the New Year with music from throughout the British Isles and Celtic lands.

Fungus Amungus at The Met 

The Rhode Island-based funk band Fungus Amungus will play their reunion show at The Met on Friday night.

Dodgeball Tournament at Battlegroundz 

This is a double elimination tournament with all skill levels welcome. Teams of 6 players with up to 2 substitutes can call or stop in to preregister at $30 per team.

The winning team will get the $30 registration fee returned, 2 XL cheese or Roni pizzas and 8 bottles of water, each player gets a 3 game package of the Battlegroundz activity of their choice, team name displayed on winners board and FB, and of course, Bragging Rights.

Kids Storytime at Books on the Square

Parents and children can join our storytellers twice each week for the ongoing Story Time event lasting approx. 30 minutes.

This event is best suited for children 6 months–6 years old.

Home for the Holidays at Hearthside House

The house is decorated so beautifully that it is no wonder it was selected to be featured in Yankee Magazine, Worcester Living Magazine, and two books about “Christmas at Historic Houses.”

Each year, volunteers spend weeks decorating to transform the mansion back to a turn-of-the-century Christmas. Visitors to Hearthside delight in the magic of a Christmas from long ago as they enter the house and are greeted by our volunteers dressed in period attire.

The event goes from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Middle Tennessee vs URI at Ryan Center 

The URI Rams wrap up their non-conference schedule on Sunday afternoon when they host Middle Tennessee at the Ryan Center. 

URI is currently 6-5 on the season and looking to build momentum before the A-10 schedule begins.

Final Weekend of A Christmas Carol at Trinity Rep 

If you have yet to make it to Trinity Rep to see A Christmas Carol, this weekend is your last chance to catch it before next year.
