An annual festival of free, citizen-led walking conversations.

" Inspired by urban activist Jane Jacobs, Jane’s Walk encourages people to get out and explore their neighborhoods. Unlike typical guided tours, these free walks are led by volunteer citizen guides who share knowledge of their own communities while inspiring participants to think, talk, and connect. Providence is one of more than 200 participating cities with Jane’s Walks around the world, and that number grows every year."

Pianist Donald Berman at Music Mansion 

First Fridays at the Music Mansion presents pianist Donald Berman with music by Nadia Boulanger, Aaron Helgeson, Elena Ruehr, Timo Andres, John Aylward, and a world premiere by David Rakowski. Special thanks to Campus Fine Wines for the reception.

Jewelry District Walking Tour at Brown Medical School Pocket Park

Join in for a two hour guided walking tour of the Historic Jewelry District. We will discuss the past, the present and the future. Why is it called the Jewelry District? Learn about the District’s history, buildings and architecture. Learn about the people … from Mayors to business owners to factory workers.

Learn about innovation from the first Providence building with electricity, to the first steam engine, to a revolutionary watch band to today’s medical innovations.

Dinosaur Quest at Stadium Theatre

It’s pre-hysterical family fun! Dr. T-Rex’s one–of–a–kind, hilarious dino show is jam–packed with unexpected surprises and amazing facts.

Using his six totally realistic and life–size dinosaur puppets and lots of audience participation, Dr. T-Rex shows children and adults why “It stinks to be extinct.”

Join the Gloria Gemma Foundation on Saturday at Rhodes on the Pawtuxet for the annual "Our Heroes" Fashion Show!, in Cranston for a Kentucky Derby themed event.

RI Philharmonic Orchestra Spring Concert at The Vets 

The concert features the top-level Symphony Orchestra conducted by Music Director Alexey Shabalin, Repertory Orchestra under the direction of Vincent Mattera, String Orchestra with Irina Naryshkova, and the Intermediate String Ensemble led by Erin Quinton Erban.

Snow White & the 7 Dwarfs at Greenwich Odeum

Providence Ballet Theatre’s production transforms the traditional fairy tale Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs into a contemporary multimedia performance. Through dance, music and video this classic story is brought to life on stage.

The viewer will encounter a magical Mirror, jealous Queen and a kind, generous and innocent Snow White who finds friends that protect and help along her journey
