Performers include local musicians like Rose Weaver and Briana White, to dance shows and more.

Steve Volkmann
Volkmann is a Providence-based acoustic singer-songwriter who plays original songs about everyday people and their lives.
Volkmann is known for songs such as New Direction, Motocross Girl and To The City.
Briana White and Band
Local singer/songwriter performs original songs with a five-piece band.
As GoLocalProv wrote about White in 2018, “White has the voice to make it in the music industry — her voice and lyrics are an "amazing talent" for those who see her play in clubs around Rhode Island.”
Bard The Band
Bard the Band is a Shakespearean concept band made up of local vocalists and musicians. Using lyrics from the Bard himself and music written by Julia Bartoletti, Bard the Band brings Shakespeare’s words and lyrics into the modern age of music.
They will perform at PVD Fest as part of the Too Much of a Good Thing Shakespeare Shorts Festival at AS220
FirstWorks presents eVenti Verticali
Direct from Italy, eVenti Verticali bring their stunning blend of theatre, circus acrobatics, dance, music, comedy and new media on aerial stages, for a stunning PVDFest highlight featured on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Jessie Jewels & Soul In-Motion: LED Dance
Jessie Jewels is a multi-disciplined dancer from Rhode Island specializing in hula hoop. Soul In-Motion is a group of friends from Southern New England who enjoy creative collaboration and impromptu improvisation.
The group fuses together multiple art forms such as music, poetry, spoken word, and movement arts.
Rose Weaver’s Honeysuckle Rose Band
Rose Weaver’s Honeysuckle Rose Band is a toe-tapping, sassy, swinging ensemble that brings together the finest jazz and blues musicians from Rhode Island.
It’s all-star lineup includes Mike Renzi on piano, who recently accompanied Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga; Shawnn Monteiro who sings from Rome to Dubai with every major jazz musician in the world; Gary Johnson, the son of late Dick Johnson, on drums; Paul Del Nero on upright bass, and Rhode Island’s own Rose Weaver, Kim Trusty, and Angela Nash-Wade rounding out the group.
Goulding School of Irish Dance
The Goulding School of Irish Dance has been a traditional and competitive dance school for over 20 years.
Its dances consist of cultural and modern routines that have been showcased locally and internationally.
Goulding School dancers have made special appearances with Grammy award-winning groups, including the Chieftains, Cherish the Ladies, and Riverdance.
Circus Dynamics
Circus Dynamics is Providence’s local circus and fire entertainment company.
Circus dancers will parade the city with glowing LED wings, hoops, poi, staff, and juggling props and fire dancers will perform mesmerizing skills and daring stunts in choreographed routines.
Belly Dance by Eunice
Eunice is a belly dancer based in Providence who regularly performs at different local restaurants and events in areas including Boston, MA, and Connecticut.
She has been practicing the art of Belly Dance for 18 years.
Rhode Island Kung Fu & Lion Dance Club
The Rhode Island Kung Fu & Lion Dance Club is a non-profit martial & cultural arts group that practices and performs kung fu & Chinese lion dance.
Lion dance is a cultural performance that combines the movement and spirit of kung fu with drumming and other percussion.
It symbolizes the warding away of negative energy and fostering good luck and positivity.
Senior Discount
Senior Discount is a punk rock band that’s been playing all over the East Coast for over a decade.
After winning the award for “Best Punk Band” twice from the Providence Phoenix, as well as the award for “Best Pop Punk” Band twice from Motif Magazine (2017 + 2018), Senior Discount was signed to Paper + Plastick Records last summer by label owner/Less Than Jake drummer Vinnie Fiorello.
The Punk Site describes S*D as having “Simple, yet effective melodies with hard driving guitars…undeniably the right formula.”
Acqua Carta
Acqua Carta creates art performances, including living statues, costumed models, and themed characters. In exchange for tips, performers will pose for photos and video and give high fives.
Ryan Kowal’s Improv Chamber
Ryan Kowal is a vibraphonist and composer who has played with some of the best musicians in New England. For this PVDFest, he has put together a group of improvisers that have been playing together for years. This is definitely not a performance to miss.
Conceptz
Conceptz has a stage show for kids and families and everyone else.

Cult
As a multifaceted artist who comes from a family of music enthusiasts, Cult works hard to create music that touches every walk of life.

FusionCultureRI
Martin and Krissy Baldera are local international dance pros known for their charismatic, electrifying, and high-energy performances within the social dance scene in Rhode Island.
The duo performs fusion dances incorporating salsa, bachata, ballroom & clubstyle dance forms and took center stage PVDFest2018 for a world record performance.
FirstWorks Presents Vox Sambou
The Montreal-based MC and activist has been called “the eternal voice of Haiti,” a “Haitian hip hop ambassador” and a “key figure on the progressive front of the Rap Kreyòl movement.”
An unflinching, passionate and compassionate performer Vox’s boundless energy on stage with his six-piece band wins over every crowd.
Heather Rose in Clover
Heather Rose In Clover uses the sharp end of its band members’ broken hearts to sculpt 90’s rock into polished, alterna-post-punk-pop.
This high-energy trio from Providence will give you all the feels and show you how views on love, heartache, loss, and hope can be altered by self-reflection and experience.
Motif Magazine describes Canyons, their debut album, as, “a full course… as good of a narrative as Springsteen with a passion that is their own.”
Bollywood and Bhangra Dance
Dance BFF (Bollywood Fusion and Fitness) will entertain the crowd with upbeat music, high energy dances, and vibrant colors! The group will present different styles and fusions, from classical to hip-hop, folk, and urban.
Audiences should be ready to join in as BFF asks for off-and-on-stage participation

Formed in 2017, 2020 is a band comprised of five high-school musicians performing original songs and covers that mix r&b and alternative rock.
