39th Annual Penguin Plunge to be Held on New Years Day

The 39th Annual Penguin Plunge for Special Olympics Rhode Island will be held on January 1 at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett at 12 noon. 

All proceeds from the event will benefit over 3,000 athletes that compete in over 1,600 training opportunities and athletic competitions. 

Over the past 38 years, the Penguin Plunge has become one of the largest and most successful fundraising events for Special Olympics Rhode Island, raising over $2 million.
