44th Penguin Plunge Benefiting Special Olympics RI Set for New Year's Day

The 44th annual Penguin Plunge is set to take place on Wednesday, January 1 at Roger Wheeler State Beach in Narragansett to benefit Special Olympics Rhode Island.
The plunge will take place at 12 noon.

All plungers are encouraged to raise a minimum donation of $50 for this event.
Penguin Plunge
Over the past 43 years, this event has transformed into one of the largest and most successful fundraising events for Special Olympics Rhode Island raising more than $3 million.
All proceeds from this event will benefit more than 4,000 athletes that compete year-round in over 1,600 training opportunities and athletic competitions.
