Deer Tick at Lupo’s
As their international reputation continues to grow, we should savor every opportunity to see Rhode Island’s own Deer Tick. So be sure to get to Lupo’s tonight and check out John McCauley and company as the Tick rocks Providence. Expect the usual debauchery and a lot from their latest album Negativity. You Won’t and King Sickabilly and his Full Moon Boys open. Doors at 8PM, show is at 9PM, tickets are $20 in advance, $23 day of show.
Anna Nalick at Manchester 65
Anna Nalick gained fame several years ago with her beautiful ballad “Breathe (2AM).” You can catch her in West Warwick tonight at Manchester 65. Boston based Satellites Fall and Charon’s Obel open at 8PM – tickets start at $15. The $30 ticket includes a meet and greet for fans who want a signed copy of the “Breathe” lyrics and more!

Tomorrow, March 15, head to the Columbus Theatre for a show from Mark Mulcahy of Miracle Legion and Polaris fame. The Connecticut-based rocker has been laying low for a few years, but he’s back with an great new album, Dear Mark J. Mulcahy, I Love You. He’s always been a critic’s favorite – expect a great night! Providence’s rockers the ‘Mericans open the evening at 9PM - tickets to the all ages show are available here for $15.
Guess Who at Twin River
Canadian classic rockers The Guess Who will be at Twin River tomorrow night, March 15. You may not realize it, but you love their hits; songs like American Woman, No Time, These Eyes and No Sugar Tonight, among others. They’re still touring with several members of the original band. Rock to the classics starting at 8PM, tickets start at $30.75. (Note: Twin River shows are known to start right on time – don’t be late!)
Wayne The Train at Firehouse 13
Firehouse 13 is back in business and hosting a classic country show tonight from Juke Joint Swing artist Wayne “the Train” Hancock. He’s guaranteed to bring some twang and good times and should feature tunes from his latest album, Ride. Whiskey Kill and King Sickabilly open the show at 9PM. One night only!!!
Bonus Pick – Pendragon at Blackstone River
Our pre-St. Patty’s Day pick goes to RI’s top Celtic band, Pendragon, playing Sunday March 16 at the Blackstone River Theatre. It’s an album release show, and a celebration of great Irish music for the well-known band celebrating their 30th their anniversary show last September. They’ll be promoting the new live CD, which was recorded at their anniversary show last September. Show is at 7PM - tickets are $15 in advance, $17 on Sunday.

The biblical story of Joseph, his eleven brothers and a coat of many colors comes alive through the music of Andrew Loyd Webber. Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Andy Blankenbuehler, this new production casts Broadway stars Diana DeGarmo (Hairspray, Hair) as The Narrator and Ace Young (Grease, Hair) as Joseph.

I Love Lucy! Live On Stage

Set in 1952, this inventive musical places viewers in the seats of the Desilu Playhouse during a live studio audience filming of two classic I Love Lucy episodes. Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel come to life alongside 1950 advertising jingles performed by the Crystaltone Singers.
