Friday-Sunday The 2012 Northeast International Auto Show is coming to town! Come check out the latest model cars, trucks, crossovers, vans and sport/utility vehicles. Shop, compare favorite models, and explore the auto scene in a no-pressure, non-selling environment. You may find the vehicle of your dreams! More Information: www.providenceautoshow.com. Linden Place Arts & Crafts

Saturday Celebrate Black History Month with an arts & crafts class for children grades 1-5 this weekend. Linden Place Mansion will be hosting the event, exploring the arts, history, and design of African culture and artwork. Four projects will be completed in the two hours class using a variety of materials and techniques; paper, pencils, weaving, printing, markers, paint and textiles. Providence Preservation Society Big Easy Winter Bash

Saturday Socialize and celebrate at the Winter Bash, one of the biggest and best winter events in Providence. Enjoy live entertainment by the Five Point Lookout Brass Band and mingle with a diverse crowd of artists, young professionals, business, civic and political leaders, and all who share a passion for Providence. Orlo's Extreme Family Day

Saturday  Bring the family for a day full of fun at this special event featuring a live presentation by two professional bike riders, Mike Steidly and local athlete, Kevin Robinson. The event will offer fingerprinting, local vendors, refreshments, and the Dave and Busters Street Team will be on hand for kids to win great prizes. All proceeds benefit the playground fund. 19th Annual Fakes & Forgeries

Saturday-Sunday  The 19th Annual Fakes & Forgeries begins this weekend. Started 18 years ago, this unusual show has united area artists who enter a variety of artwork representing pieces from the Renaissance to the modern day.
