I Hate Hamlet, Pawtucket
Friday-Sunday The Community Players, the oldest community theater in Rhode Island, enjoys its 92nd season this year with this Shakespearean romp by Paul Rudnick. Andrew Rally seems to have it all: celebrity and acclaim from his starring role in a hit television series; a rich, beautiful girlfriend; the perfect New York apartment; and the chance to play Hamlet in Central Park. There are, however, a couple of glitches: Andrew's series has been canceled, his girlfriend is still a virgin and he hates "Hamlet". It gets crazier from there. Jenks Auditorium, Division Street, Pawtucket, RI (across from McCoy Stadium). Friday and Saturday at 8 pm, Sunday matinee at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students through high school.
