35th Annual RI Heritage Day Festival, Providence

Saturday: Experience Rhode Island's rich cultural heritage with family and friends at Roger Williams National Memorial.  Booths representing cultures from all over the world will exhibit eclectic food, crafts, and dancing. The Rhode Island National Guard presents the 88th Army Band and a rock wall while children can face-paint and work on a Peace Flag Project. 282 North Main Street Providence. 5th Annual Latino Food and Wine Festival, Providence

7th Annual Newport Mansions Wine and Food Festival, Newport

Friday through Sunday: Embrace the richness of Newport at the 7th Annual Mansions Wine and Food Festival. First Annual Rubber Duck Race for Children’s Wishes, Lincoln

Sunday: Test your luck with a rubber duck at the First Annual Rubber Duck Race at Lincoln Woods State Park.  Help the Children’s Wishes Foundation by “adopting” a rubber duck and seeing it through to the finish line!  First place can win $350.  Free admission with $5 duck adoption, 11am to 3pm. Miriam Hospital Fall Fest, Providence

Sunday: Put the fun in fall at the Miriam Hospital Fall Fest at Hope Street!  Enjoy excellent food, refreshments, hayrides, and crafts for children.  Do not miss out on the award winning pogo-sticking stand up comedian Wacky Chad at 2 pm!
